Why Do I Need To Service My A/C Unit?

Clogged Or Dirty Filters

If your filters are full of dirt and dust, it can become clogged. This obstructs the airflow and will reduce your unit’s efficiency. It is recommended you replace your dirty air filters monthly to lower your air conditioner's energy consumption by 5% to 15%.

Condensate Drains

If your air conditioner’s condensate drain is not monitored and cleaned, you will find an accumulation of mold and algae. Mold can be especially hazardous for your home and family. The growth can also clog the drain and cause your unit to work inefficiently.

Evaporator Coils

An air conditioner’s evaporator coil should be checked and cleaned annually to clear out dirt and pollutants. Make sure to remove all debris like leaves, foliage, and dryer vents from around outdoor condenser coils
